A Nature-Inspired Retreat…
The AKTIEN project signifies a transformative journey for a Brussels-based couple of engineers, embracing a new chapter in their lives. Choosing a residence near Eupen, in Dilbeek, to reconnect with the husband's Germanophone heritage, their aspiration was to craft a retreat, one that is uncomplicated and intimately connected to the beauty of nature.
Conceived to mirror their dynamic lifestyle and the pleasure of entertaining friends, the house incorporates a dedicated room for board games, featuring bespoke fittings meticulously designed to organize their collection. The enduring design ethos places a premium on natural materials, particularly favoring wood, thereby cultivating a poetic ambiance intricately tied to the encompassing natural surroundings.
Every room within the residence offers a distinctive experience, narrating its own unique story while preserving an overarching sense of harmony. The outcome is an inviting home where the couple can indulge in their passions and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature during their thoroughly earned retirement. This interior design project exemplifies our commitment to crafting spaces that transcend mere functionality, becoming true sanctuaries seamlessly integrated with the natural world.
