For this residential interior design project situated in Brussels, we partnered with our client to enhance the layout of their living room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The primary focus of our attention was directed towards altering the flooring, which did not align with the client's preferences and displayed noticeable damage. The client envisioned a space that is not only functional but also serene—a place conducive to hosting family and friends.
Our comprehensive approach involved a thorough analysis of circulation patterns, spatial layout, volumetric considerations, and the crafting of custom furniture to optimize every available inch. This included the creation of a closed storage space and a dedicated shelving area for the office. The living room, designed as a multifunctional hub connected to the kitchen, seamlessly integrates the living area, dining room, closed storage, and office space. It was paramount to instill a warm ambiance in harmony with the client's personal tastes and requirements. Our overarching goal was to implement meaningful changes that truly make a difference.
A detailed study of window dressing was imperative to manage the influx of natural light into the living space. Additionally, we conducted a meticulous lighting study and carefully selected fixtures. Opting for the tranquil MIZZLE blue from the Farrow and Ball brand for the living area, we aimed to create a serene and calm atmosphere, ensuring that occupants could experience this sense of tranquility each time they step into the space. This interior design project showcases our commitment to marrying functionality with aesthetics, resulting in spaces that are not only visually pleasing but also align with the unique preferences and lifestyle of our clients.
